Pumps!

Anyone look into pumps yet? I’ve pumped for previous babies but I’m always looking for anything to “splurge” on to help myself and enjoy it a little more!

Re: Pumps!

  • I’m obsessed with getting an Elvie. Even if I can’t get the original ($550?!) I’ve still got my eye on the Stride.

  • Oh man. With my first I had a Medela PISA just because replacement parts were more accessible then (6 years ago). With my second I got a Willow (4 years ago). One of my F19 Mom friends is an IBCLC who works for Aeroflow so I'll probably check out their info to see what's new in the pump world. I used them with my first and they made the process super easy
  • Great thread!! I really want an elvie or an equivalent this time around. I’m just nervous because I have huge breasts so I wonder if it will work with them? If anyone has insight to this, that would be great.

I exclusively pumped for 9 months with DD (she destroyed me and we honestly both had a horrible time with direct chest feeding).  at the time I had the portable Medela freestyle Flex, it was small and mighty. I was able to do some light chore, but walk around, etc. after I put it in a fanny pack, but it was still a traditional pump in a sense. I’m ready to level up.
  • I got the Momcozy M1 on Amazon as my splurge pump. I drive a lot for work and liked the flexibility of a handsfree pump. I had a Medela Pump in Style as my main pump, but a handsfree bra really leveled it up because I could keep typing at work.
  • @dunder_mifflin I'm a 34DD+ when bf-ing and used the willow last time. I think the right supportive bra makes a difference with the handsfree/wireless pumps
