Getting close

Since we are all getting close, besides meeting/cuddling/anything  baby related what are you most looking forward to?

I’ll start.  Sleeping on my belly :)

Re: Getting close

  • Not being nauseous constantly and having everything taste wrong! Especially coffee. I’m a huge coffee drinker usually and every pregnancy it just tastes off. That first coffee after giving birth is amazing.

  • Falling asleep on my belly for sure!

Thankfully the baby is cool with coffee (I don't know if I could have gotten through the pregnancy without it).

Not the healthiest, but it'll be nice to have a few beers and a toke, or a few mushrooms by the campfire. If I still enjoy those things! Lol
  • Being able to BREATHE. This shortness of breath is for the birds! Squeezing out of my car in tight parking spots. Bending over is also up there on the list.

  • I've always been a side sleeper but I really want to sleep on my belly too! I think because it's taboo right now. But just being able to lie down normally. I've been having to sleep sitting up because of heartburn/nausea. I can't wait to lay down on my side and be able to turn onto my other side without issue.

I want a glass of WINE soo bad! I'm not a huge drinker but I like having a glass of wine when I'm cooking dinner.

I love ham and cheese sandwiches and sushi. I can see us stopping for a big sushi take out order on the way home from the hospital and hopefully I'll have time to pack some ham and cheese sandwiches when we're off to the hospital (the simpler the better they taste to me). If not, hubby will have to make a subway run when this baby is out.
  • Eating all the carbs (I have gestational diabetes)! Only 7 more weeks until pizza (baby) heaven!!
  • @jessicaupstateny I am sooooo with you on the carbs. I just want one meal where I don’t have to think “I ate some potatoes, am I allowed to also have 1/2 a cookie?” I am ready to no longer be diabetic. Also, sushi and back sleeping. Those 2 I miss dearly.
