I am due back to work in 2 months and I am having a hard time sleep training my 10 month old son. He used to sleep great through the night around 3-6 months old, then it all changed. We maybe get 2-3 nights a week where he sleeps through the night. I want to ask other mom's what the best approach is to help my boy sleep better and more consistently.

I used taking Cara babies for sleep training my kids. There’s a paid course as well as free blogs on their website. It was recommended to me from a friend that paid for the course and I used a lot of the free blog posts for setting up schedules for my kids that led to better sleep. They have mock schedules for kids of all ages and a bunch of great info that has really helped me with all 3 of my kids. I would definitely recommend checking out their website (takingcarababies.com) and looking through some of their blog posts to see if that helps!

  • Thank you so much for the advice! I really appreciate it. I'm going to check it out now!
  • this is what happened to our baby around 6 months. Our pediatrician said it’s them learning object permanence meaning your baby finally understands that mom and dad might no always be there so a little separation anxiety too. We basically just had to let her lie there while comforting her but trying not to pick her up. It took a few weeks but started sleeping through the night again and then it happened one more time at 7 months and now she’s sleeping through the night. I also use taking Cara babies blog but also take advice from the peaceful sleeper blog too.
