Timing/CS: I go in for baseline monitoring tomorrow hopefully

How are things going? Any questions?: Today is a bit stressful. CD 1 was over the weekend, so I called today to schedule because my clinic does the first monitoring visit on around CD 3 or 4. But when I called they said they couldn’t schedule anything because my chart didn’t show that I have financial approval (my insurance needs to pre-approve everything and I guess they hadn’t yet). I talked to one of the nurses and she got it so they could at least schedule me for tomorrow, but they’ll have to cancel it if they don’t get the approval in time. So hopefully my insurance doesn’t take too long and make me have to wait another cycle.

R/R: I’m so ready for fall weather. It’s been almost 90 the past few days, which is really not normal for the area, and I’ve not been enjoying it.

@britters314 Welcome back! You were traveling some, right? How did all that go? I'm so sorry for the bureaucratic headache you're dealing with. FX the insurance company gets back to you pronto!!

How are things going? Any questions?: We got our PGT results back last Friday, and I couldn't be happier. I was so nervous about this last IVF cycle, both because it had been a rocky few months leading up to it and because I'd chosen to forgo taking supplement like we did for the first retrieval. Feeling like I can go into the next transfer cycle (hopefully starting mid-October) breathing easier.

Full details on the PGT testing and embryo grading in the spoiler below.

PGT-A: 4 out of 6 came back as euploid; the other 2 are aneuploid and high mosaic, respectively. We asked to not know the sex, so can't report anything there!
PGT-M: Of the 4 euploid, 3 are totally unaffected by our monogenic disorder. And the other is a carrier. (Carriers don't typically experience symptoms, so that alone wouldn't stop us from transferring that embryo.)

Lab grades for the euploids are 4AA, 5BA, 6BA, and 5BB.

R/R: It was a very long day at work today, so all that's coming to mind are rants. My manager is turning out to be a bit of a micromanager. Given that prior to taking this job I was essentially my own manager (university researcher), this new situation has been....challenging.

Timing/CS: I started my period yesterday unfortunately.

How are things going? I need to get back to doing LH testing more consistently, I think that's the only way we're going to make sure we hit the date perfectly.

    Any questions?: None

R/R: Rave: I keep getting people to let me plant native plants in their yards. I'm excited about it, maybe I can help the neighborhood be a bit more friendly to local flora and fauna.
  • @aisleofviewtwo Our trip was great! It was nice to get away and relax for a bit. We also had really good weather, which made it even better!
