Loss of appetite

What are y’all eating that’s easy and nutritious that isn’t heavy? 
I am on day 4 of having no appetite. I have to make myself eat and still am only eating half of what I should at each meal. 
I’m not necessarily nauseated by the food or anything I just don’t want to eat. It’s very strange.

    My nausea was getting better, but then last week my son brought home a virus (parting gift from preschool 🙃) and it knocked me completely on my ass. Been puking more this weekend until now than ever before this pregnancy. I made a veggie lentil and chickpea stew yesterday that seemed to help. I know it’s not exactly a summer dish but it’s the only thing that works for me currently.

  • I was thinking of making a big pot of cabbage hamburger soup but it doesn’t last as long in my house as you might expect. 
  • I’ve started keeping granola bars by my bed. I wake often to go to the bathroom, and every two or three hours I’ll have a little nibble on the granola bar so at least there is something in my stomach. I’ve had a really hard time wanting anything tbh. The worst is when I pack a lunch for work. I’m a night shift RN, so there are no fresh options at night. Usually the food that sounded good when I packed it gives me the ick by the time I go to eat it 😭

  • Now that I'm able to eat peanuts, the sweet and salty type bars have been quite the lifesaver for the past week. I also had my very first PB&J yesterday. 
  • I’m a big fan of Greek yogurt when I need to eat something but don’t really feel like eating. 
  • Ok as of yesterday I’m in this club now. I feel full all the time and don’t want to eat anything. It feels like there is just no room in there for anything other than baby. I have to eat obviously to keep up strength and regulate my blood sugar, but I really don’t want to. After I eat, I feel over full for hours after. Ugh. 
  • I’ve been getting by with apples and pb, an orange, a granola bar, a protein shake in the morning… that’s usually what my day looks like. 
    It takes me about an hour to eat my dinner because I have two bites and I’m full. 
    I never know now if the nausea means I’m too hungry or too full.
