Anyone else suffering from sore hips throughout the night? Doesn’t matter the firmness of the bed, I’m constantly turning back and forth due to soreness in the hips. I’ve been using the babybub pregnancy pillow
Yes! I am right there with you. I use the snoogle pregnancy pillow and an additional body pillow between my knees for even more support, but my hips are still killing me. I get up and take a warm bath around 5 each morning to try to get them to calm down. Yoga & stretching helps too, but who wants to get up and do that in the middle of the night? It would be nice if I could sleep until my alarm instead of waking up at 5 hurting so badly I can’t get back to sleep.
I don't know if this will help anyone, but I have had to start sleeping sitting up at the beginning of the night because of heartburn. If I lie flat, I'll vomit. About halfway through the night I move down and onto my side. Because I'm sleeping, essentially on my back for a few hours, it seems to help my hips. It took a few nights before I could fall asleep upright, but now I seem to be used to it. We're also in harvest season so it helps that I'm exhausted by the time I'm ready for bed. I used to wake up around 4am with terrible hip pain on both sides. crossing my fingers that it doesn't come back.
I thought about trying that. I haven’t yet, but I was seriously considering trying sleeping in the glider/recliner we just got for the nursery and seeing if the incline helps the hip situation. I’ll have to give it a go.
