Preclampsia scare

I am a 36 year old who is pregnant for the first time. Because of my age, when I entered the second trimester, my doctor put me on one dose of baby aspirin a day to prevent preclampsia.  I am 18 weeks pregnant and just received bloodwork that I am at a very high risk for preclampsia.  The doctor upped my Aspirin to twice a day to try to prevent it.  I am very concerned because I know how dangerous preclampsia can be. Does anyone know anything or have similar experiences that wouldn't mind sharing to help ease my mind.  I have been super stressed since finding out which I know isn't healthy for myself or the baby.

    Hopefully you can avoid it. But if bloodwork is showing high risk I would be prepared to have to be admitted early and possibly deliver early. The aspirin can help but I still got high BP by the end of my second pregnancy. I checked my BP at home. Best of luck!!
