Symptoms!?

I’m 14 weeks today but for the past couple
days I have been feeling literally NOTHING! I have an anterior placenta and it makes it impossible to find the heart beat with the Doppler I bought. I believe I have found it but I hear it for maybe 3 seconds and then it’s gone can’t find it again.

Does anyone else feel absolutely nothing at all? Is this normal? I’m so scared due to previous loss I have never made it this far into pregnancy. I don’t have another scan lined up at the moment waiting to see my OB September 5th.

Re: Symptoms!?

  • Probably just means you’re in the clear of the crummy morning sickness, exhaustion, etc. normal for it to happen around 14 weeks as you enter your second trimester :) there’s different reads on this topic on Baby Center and probably on here too. Hope your worries subside and you can enjoy not being nauseous!

  • I’ve had very few symptoms this pregnancy as opposed to my first, I’m 15 weeks today and besides my tiny bump + some minor congestion I feel 100% normal. I remind myself that if something was wrong, I would be seeing negative symptoms — spotting or cramping or things like that. This is the most tedious stage of pregnancy for me because I can’t feel baby move, don’t get frequent checkups and feel normal! But it’s usual for the 2nd trimester for symptoms to get less pronounced. Try not to worry too much, I hope your checkup next week is encouraging!
