  My baby goes long periods without pooping.  Doctor says he is just efficient with the breast milk.  I'm hoping once you tried formula baby pooped though?

  My third child also goes a few days without pooping. I consulted with her pediatrician, said it’s normal, especially for an EBF baby. Breast milk is highly efficient, so less waste is produced, which can lead to fewer bowel movements.

  My baby went 11 days with no poop when she was in here first weeks.. i was super worried but she wasnt complaining or crying she was still tooting. 

  After trying to stimulate lightly with a qtip and vaseline- 

  Eventually the pediatrician suggested an enema (said that even though it said not to use for infants it was okay) we bought the kid one and only used about half or less than half.. i cried but she was fine! And then shes been pooping great ever since.

  As long as they’re gaining weight, no cause for concern. Breastfed babies can go days without pooping. My LO goes anywhere from 3-7 days without a #2. Common in breastfed LO’s.
