We did this in my last BMB and it was fun to see the babies grow! Since some of us have had our 1st appointments and ultrasounds, I thought we could share them here if you'd like. If you share, please make sure no personal information is shown in the picture (such as name, DOB etc)!

Married: 06-2024
TTC #1: Since November 2015
Restarted TTC "count" Oct. 2016

    Aw how sweet! I’m also 35, doing the NIPT, and I did for DD when I was 30 just because H and I are planners and like to be informed if we can be! We did ours at 10.5 weeks with Norah. It’s $$$ (not covered here unless there’s a medical reason for it, more advanced maternal age and/or fam history, etc.). But the nice bonus is you get to find out the sex so early as well, and it’s very accurate. We loved knowing DD’s bio sex so early, again we are planners. Of course ensuring she was healthy was the most important - but it was nice to know so early!

    I was told about a genetics test at 12 weeks but also a carrier test I could take now. I think we are passing on the carrier test but will most likely do the NIPT I have another appointment next week where I’ll ask more about. My first one I was slightly overwhelmed with everything

    I’m passing on the carrier screening since we did that last year and we’re both boring but I’m definitely getting NIPT and NT, both on August 29 along with my official dating scan since ultrasound was so full.

    @dunder_mifflin I measured at 6 weeks 3 days and had a heart rate of 107. They also told me they weren’t concerned by that as it is still so small.

    @kas0211that is very reassuring, thank you! I’m feeling good about it and just waiting for my doc to call me Monday when she returns from vacay. I’m hoping she says she’s not worried since she’s an excellent GP (I swear she was more excited for this baby when I went for my apt than H and I since we were in shock how fast it happened!)

    @dunder_mifflin at 6w4d the HR was 112 and our Dr office said they were comfortable with that! I think you're good :)

    @ckmdot2025 thanks so much! My doctor just messaged me today and noted everything looked great, she’s not worried about the HR right now but would like me to go back in 1-2 weeks to confirm all is well. So ultrasound booked on August 20th and I’ll be 8w 3d by then :)

    she is referring me to the midwives office to give birth at the hospital I work at 🤪 yay for parking I already pay for!

    @dunder_mifflin my US with my first was at 6 weeks and they couldn’t pick up a hb at all. They just said it was too early and they’d try again the following week. Sure enough, at 7 weeks all was fine! It’s probably just early.

    Went today to make sure the HB and everything was okay, baby is measuring on-track at 8w3d, fetal HR of 158 🥰 we feel so relieved and happy! EDD still March 29th, a day after DD’s

    9+1 week ultrasound. Baby's heart rate was at a healthy 171 bpm. Baby did a little wiggle dance for me too which was adorable!

    My due date is 3/1 so I'm a little further along than most, but at 12w 5d, this is my baby girl :)

    @paigemm23 and @ckmdot2025 those profiles 😍 your ultrasounds have babies! Mine looked like an alien at 7.5 weeks lol.

    @paigemm23 I think I get another ultrasound Wednesday at my AMA appointment. Hopefully, it’ll be a cute profile this time!

    It’s been quiet in here lately! Here are some pics from my anatomy scan back on 10/29. I’ll get to see him again on 12/20 for a growth scan!
