Beta HCG

I am 8 days post IVF transfer. I had my blood test today. They told me my HCG levels are 18 in 3 days I go back again to retest and make sure the numbers are going up. I am 3 weeks and 6 days should I be concerned that it’s so low.

    Anything above 5 is considered positive.  Your number should be low, as with IVF they have you do the blood test about as early as you possibly can.  The most important thing is that it doubles in 48 hours, and that number will really be the telling number.  Good luck!
