    Team blue/pink/green: trying to stick to green, but yalls sneak peaks have me so curious lol

    Upcoming Appointments: Next week

    How are you feeling?: Exhausted and nauseous still. I’m having a lot of anxiety and trouble sleeping this pregnancy due to complications with my son’s birth that I’m scared to repeat. Discussing a planned csection with my doctor as a possible way to ease my anxiety (they aren’t worried about a repeat complication, but are open to what I need for peace of mind).

    Rants/Raves: I’m really trying to save my PTO for obvious reasons, but I’m home with my sick toddler today and tomorrow, at least. My husband’s job is hard to take time off from, so it falls to me and I never seem to have enough left.
    Raves: my husband went to the grocery store and bought all of the random food I’ve been talking about lol.

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? Kayaking! And a coworker invited me one weekend because she had an extra kayak. I’ve been using her extra ever since and really want to get my own.

    First time posting one of these!

    DD / Weeks + Days: 3/31, 7w0d (hate being due the 31st, feels like I’m behind everyone else here 😂)

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM ☺️

    Baby is the size of a (an): Blueberry 🫐 

    Team blue/pink/green: Blue (PGT embryo so I knew before he was transferred)

    Upcoming Appointments: repeat u/s with my fertility clinic this week (looked good and saw the heartbeat last week at 6+2 😍), first actual OB appt 8/26

    How are you feeling?: Pretty good other than tired, occasional nausea but not too bad — sometimes get anxious that I should be feeling worse but trying to just appreciate it

    Rants/Raves: it’s been beautiful weather the past week and I’ve had a light workload so enjoying just relaxing in the screen porch!

    Questions: None right now

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? Hiking and nature (mostly bird) photography. Got into the photography part as a Covid hobby and it stuck!

    How are you feeling?: still tired, very tired! I don’t have much of an appetite and get waves of nausea but other than that pretty good! 

    Rants/Raves: I was able to find baby’s heart beat on the home Doppler I have. I didn’t use it much with my first and don’t plan to with this babe but was curious if I could find baby this early! 

    Questions: none! 

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? I go through a lot of hobbies🙈 I don’t really have time for many at this stage in my life though 🥲 i love crafts though! I made soap for a while which was fun and useful! My father in law got me a kit and It just took off from there! While I was pregnant with my first I made those little crochet name sweaters for my nieces and nephews that were popular at the time! I also made flower decorations for my DDs nursery out of crepe paper!

    @paigemm23 Ha, sometimes I look at the April forum just to feel ahead of the curve 😂 (plus I figure it’s more or less 50/50 if I deliver in march or April)

    FTM/STM/TTM+: first time 

    Baby is the size of a (an): strawberry 

    Team blue/pink/green: I will be happy either way 

    Upcoming Appointments: 8/28

    How are you feeling?: exhausted, super lightheaded and dizzy today. Also starting to look bigger than just I had a giant meal. I had a work event from Thurs - Sunday and also my birthday and I’m worried I overdid it. Going to bed extra early tonight (after I post this). The morning sickness has gotten drastically better over the last week, I still have to eat right when I wake up but not nauseous. 

    Rants/Raves: I finally ordered a pregnancy pillow, I can’t wait until it comes. Also found a body serum to help with my body acne from the pregnancy, praying it does its job. Rave for bone broth in the morning for extra protein and collagen. Also rave for lathering myself in lotion after every shower to prevent stretch marks 🤞🏻

    Questions: over easy/runny eggs, is this ok to eat?

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? I’ve been knitting since I was 8 years old. I learned at an after school program and many generations of women in my family also knit. I’m making baby blankets for friends who are due this year and hoping my mom will make a blanket for my baby. It’s very calming to me but I haven’t had a lot of time to do it lately.

    Team blue/pink/green: I’m eligible for NIPT at the end of the week so I’m hoping the bedside ultrasound counts as a viable dating method. Otherwise I’m stuck twiddling my thumbs till the end of the month.

    Upcoming Appointments: September 5

    How are you feeling?: Still tired, constipated and awfully nauseous. My body is starting to rebel against my prenatal vitamin, and I think I found my craving for this pregnancy: Mexican!

    Rants/Raves: At my job we’re getting a new person that should get a fair chunk of work off my back. Yay!

    Questions:

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it?
    I’m a very amateur astronomer. I’ve always looked up at the sky and wondered what’s out there. It didn’t hurt that my best friend at the time said that he was going to be an astrophysicist, so of course I wanted to learn as much as I could about it.

    How are you feeling?: So tired and unmotivated. I want to just lay on the couch! I thought my nausea had gotten better last week but it came back with a vengeance over the weekend. Today I am feeling pretty good, so hoping it was just a wave and it doesn't come back to stay. Still very bloated by the end of every day too, all of my pants are getting tight! 

    Rants/Raves: Rant: I already have people who are making my pregnancy about them. For example, a fully grown adult human (aunt) throwing a temper tantrum that she was not at our private gender reveal which was just for parents and closest people. She said she "deserved" to be there (when we hadn't even announced yet). The only reason she even knew about the pregnancy was because my MIL took it upon herself to tell her. I just have zero patience for it right now. 

    Questions: None! 

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? We ride side by sides and camp! We have a fifth wheel toy hauler and take our sxs all around, mainly to the mountains, and will ride for weeks at a time. It is our favorite thing to do. We haven't had a trip in a while now, but I think we will be going to Tennessee for Thanksgiving week!

    DD / Weeks + Days: 7w4d, confirmed after ultrasound

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

    Baby is the size of a (an): Blueberry 🫐 

    Team blue/pink/green: team healthy! But low hey hoping for another healthy girl 😂

    Upcoming Appointments: second ultrasound booked for next Tuesday to confirm heartbeat is okay

    How are you feeling?: much better this week, I’m back at work post-COVID and I’m surviving the nausea. But I’ve blown up! Like somehow I’ve put on 15 lbs and I’m 5ft tall, so much is bloat and water, but I feel uncomfortable. 

    Rants/Raves: the midwives office I thought I wanted - who is connected to the hospital I work at - called me and told me they were already full for March (how?!) and said if I’m a planned c-section, they can’t follow my care. Which pissed me the f *** off because I’m likely not a candidate for VBAC, I’m one of those people in 1800s who would have died in childbirth without Modern medicine. So you’re telling me I can’t receive care here because my body can’t vaginally birth a baby? So pre and post-natal care don’t matter?! F*** off with that. Another midwives office told me they are full for March (I’m due March 29th, basically April). I said “how are you full? I thought I was early?” She goes, “people book us at 10 weeks…” I go, “I’m 7 weeks!” *silence on the other end* - so I filled out their form online and we will see if I’m “early enough” 🙄 I have no patience for snarkiness these days. 

    I connected with my previous midwife practice and I am hoping they have space, I know they will see me through all my care and not discharge me to an OB or be snarky. I’m definitely hormonal but both these interactions really send me over the edge yesterday lol. 

    Questions: not much! 

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? Thrifting!!! And decorating my home. Though I don’t nearly have enough time for it these days 😭

    @libby331 I’m due March 29th! My daughter was due March 28th and I had her March 31st - so I’m with you! I felt that last due date group, but it’s nice to get an idea of what you’re in for 😂
    (i love her March 31st birthday! True spring baby.  I kind of wish we held off 3.5 hours on my daughter’s c-section so she could be born April 1st because she has a wicked sense of humour - but I was so uncomfortable and couldt wait 3.5 hours)

    @eclaire90 yes, bone broth is giving me life!!!! I have it every AM with lemon and some sea salt as a hot beverage after coffee :) 

    also my pregnancy pillow was the best part of my pregnancy. I can’t wait to bust it out, I’m sleeping on my belly as much as I can while I still can lmao.

    @dunder_mifflin yeah I actually think it’s a great due date! No major holidays to interfere with birthday parties, not hugely pregnant during the heat of summer, and spring will be a nice time to be on maternity leave!

    DD / Weeks + Days: March 23rd, 8w6d 

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

    Baby is the size of a (an): olive! 

    Team blue/pink/green: still leaning pink but I keep having boy dreams 😅 we sent off our sneak peek the day before yesterday ahhhh 

    Upcoming Appointments: 9 days away!! Finally!! Also planning on finding out the gender via sneak peek results after the appointment if all goes well 

    How are you feeling?: not too bad this week. a little stressed because I’ve had pretty regular spotting, but I keep being reassured that’s not a problem in and of itself at this point, so high hopes! I’m also THIRSTY omg. I bought a 40oz water bottle and even after finishing about two a day, I still find myself getting out of bed for water at night this week 

    Rants/Raves: I do not have an appetite AT ALL and it’s driving me nuts because I’ve thankfully experienced minimal nausea and yet eating anything at all feels like torture. On the rave side of things, I’m seeing some payoff with my highly reactive dog’s training which is amazing, and also my husband is being an overall saint haha 

    Questions: none for now :)   

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? Horses! I’m not sure it’s so much a hobby as an all consuming passion lol. I was just born with the bug. My family was low income so I wasn’t able to become involved with them as a child, but the first thing I did after moving out at 18 was find a weekend feeding job, and I then worked my way up over a few years during college. I now own my own horses and my life would be incomplete without them ❤️

    @Knottie1457913469, I was having SUPER vivid boy dreams which is actually why I had a feeling it was a girl. My sneak peek came back girl 🩷 I had the same type of dreams while pregnant with my DD as well!!

    @paigemm23 oh, no way! That is good to hear because I keep hearing about people’s dreams being right about gender. Though the boy dreams have actually made me question my preference at times now go figure lol 

    Can’t wait to update with the results on the 26th!

    DD / Weeks + Days: 8 weeks tomorrow 😊 technically due April 1st but will likely need an earlier c-section

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM, my son just turned a year!

    Baby is the size of a (an): keyboard key apparently lol

    Team blue/pink/green: at first I was thinking it would be a girl this time but then I had a dream we had a boy. Who knows! We won’t find out until 20 weeks.

    Upcoming Appointments: first ultrasound and appointment is on Wednesday, which I’ve been long awaiting and slowly getting more nervous for. Hoping all is well.

    How are you feeling?: overall feeling pretty good, just extremely tired! My son has been teething and sick this past week so I really haven’t been getting enough sleep. Nausea has kicked in but not too bad.

    Rants/Raves: my husband is so amazing and has already helped me satiate my random cravings a few times lol 

    Questions: not so much a question but just looking for reassurance that brownish pink discharge is normal in early pregnancy. I remember this happening the first time around and things were ok, but obviously it can still be a little nerve wracking to see some things.

    GTKY: What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it? This is a hard one because I don’t have so much time anymore to do my hobbies. I guess one thing I really enjoy in my alone time is crocheting while watching Korean dramas 😊 I learned about both from my best friend of almost 20 years!

    @mrskale The discharge should be ok, but bring it up at your appt, so the OB can check to make sure everything's fine.

    @mrskale I’be had brownish/red discharge following sex. For me it’s just a bit of spotting and is considered normal after sex. Not sure if it’s similar circumstances for you.
