No pregnancy sickness 6w1d

This is my second time conceiving but last time was a MM at 6.5 weeks, found out at 10w via ultrasound.
This go-around my boobs are bigger, I have lots of very mild strain my lower abdomen (guessing some is gas and bloat), smell is intensified, and I am definitely fatigued but I havent felt nauseous at all. I'm getting nervous this will be another miscarriage...anyone else had this occur and still had a successful pregnancy?
Hoping nausea will come feels strange, but I know odds are favorable if it does set in.

Re: No pregnancy sickness 6w1d

  • Disclaimer I haven’t had a successful pregnancy yet
I had a MMC last year and two follow up chemical pregnancies. I’m currently 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I just started getting nausea. I have been very anxious like you in hoping I get it but I also know not everyone or even pregnancy is the same. I’ve had a couple friends who barely had it at all and really only did if they didn’t eat frequently but then in a second pregnancy they had to be on medication. However they do get it. I’m very scared for another miscarriage and thankfully I have an early ultrasound so we shall see how it goes. But all the love and support to you pregnancy after loss is rough mentally

Everyone and every pregnancy is different. With my last one, I had no morning sickness or nausea at all - ever and I now have a son who just turned 7 this month. It's been the same with this one so far.

  • I thought I had lucked out during my last pregnancy when I hit the second trimester with zero nausea or morning sickness. It kicked in as soon as I hit 12 weeks 😅 and stuck around until the third trimester. Don’t worry about it at all! Like another poster said, every person and pregnancy is different!
  • Thank you both! It's so wonderful to feel supported by fellow mommas and mommas to be. ❤️
  • This is my 4th pregnancy and I have never had any nausea at all (thankfully!). I wouldn't worry that's a sign of anything wrong, as all my previous pregnancies have resulted in very healthy kiddos. I know that's harder said than done, but trying to relax is best for your health and baby's ❤️
