Weekly Randoms 7/1

Re: Weekly Randoms 7/1

  • There is a class action law suit against Costco wipes for containing pfas (forever chemicals). Just thought I'd put that out there is anyone uses them.

  • Got my first piece of unsolicited advice.  A lady at the craft recycle shop told me to take lots of videos of Spud being a sweet baby.  That way if they become a pain during their teenage years, I can look back on those videos and remind myself that that sweet baby is in there somewhere.  Her son is turning 40 this year and she said he returned to acting like a reasonable person around 20, but was a real jerk during the teenage years.
  • Adulting... being so excited to get a new washer and dryer because you're over wrinkly stiff clothing.  Finally can wash all the baby stuff!

    That’s fantastic news!!!
  • @lexilougolden yay! congratulations baby!
  • Cooking smells are apparently a no-go for me right now.  My mom was making waffles and I had to take the last one because until the cooking smell went away, I didn't feel good.  My SO is working on dinner right now and it smells pretty bad even though he's made it before and it smelled good then.  Cooked food smells good though, even if it was iffy when cooking.

  • @MinnieMay9 food has been making me sick lately too. It’s like going back to the first trimester. So frustrating! I hope smells get better for you soon
  • I was just thinking about you while I was at work today!!  I hope everything goes smoothly!
  • @littlebabybuster I hope everything went well!! Keep us updated!
  • @littlebabybuster can’t wait for an update!
  • Congratulations! Baby tomorrow is so exciting!!! It feels like such a long time coming and not enough time all at once! I'm sending you all the positive vibes that all those little details will sort themselves out and that you will have a beautiful labor experience.  You've got this!!!!
  • Any new babies out there? I went into the hospital last night with 3 min contractions and after monitoring they sent me back home to labor down since I'm not dilated.  I'm still having some hard contractions this morning at around 5 min so it's hard to say if I should get up and around and see if I can move baby down or to rest and see if I can get them to go away. 36w1d today. I'm going to call my OB when their office opens.
