**** TW **** HCG Levels Dropped

Sunday into Monday I had some light spotting. I wasn't too concerned but my doctor said to have me get my HCG levels checked so I went in Monday afternoon. My HCG was at 4,791 which according to the chart would mean I was possibly closer to  7 weeks along vs 8 like I thought. The spotting also stopped Monday as well. 

Tuesday night DH and I went to dinner. As we were finishing I felt some cramping but thought it was because of round ligament pain (which I know is usually 2nd trimester but can be earlier in a 2nd pregnacy) or maybe I ate too much. When I stood up and walked to the car, the cramping was gone and I felt fine. We stopped at the grocery store and got a couple things - still no pain or cramping. I got home, had to go to the bathroom and noticed blood in the underwear and toilet. I called and spoke with a triage nurse who told me to rest and not do any heaving lifting. She didn't think I needed to go in because I wasn't soiling a pad or more in an hour, I didn't have any pain, wasn't dizzy or feverish and also because I had my 2nd HCG check the next day.

Wednesday morning the bleeding had stopped (probably stopped sometime during the night). I went in for my 2nd test of HGC and my levels went down to 1637 which is consistent with a MC.

I didn't have any more bleeding Wednesday but got more spotting on Thursday and still today. 

I go in on the 8th still but instead of it being a happy appointmemt to check baby, it is now to make sure all tissue has passed
