My newly 10 month old for the past almost 2 weeks has had a whole new, horrible attitude during meal times. She will only eat a couple of spoonful’s and then turn her head away and start screaming and crying. She used to eat or try anything and now she’s been very picky. She is EBF and has been wanting boob a lot more frequently as well and has been yanking down my tops to try and get at them. She also has never been fond of touching food with her hands but would put a loaded spoon in her mouth and she is refusing to do that as well; if she does grab it she either throws it or does literally anything else besides eating the food on it - but there is no issue with bringing either toys or hands to mouth, it’s just food. Self feeding with pincer grasp has gone out the window as well, she always did that less frequently but now same thing, refusing to pick things up with her fingers and is bending in half to pick it up with her mouth instead.
Sorry this is so long, but is this just normal baby behavior? She didn’t used to act this way regarding meals and I figured as she got older she’d get better at feeding herself not worse, and the hysterical crying at meals has me at my wits end. I’m not sure what to do at all.
