Lately I've been having dreams of baby. One was when he was already born, a newborn, and it was time for his feeding. It was me, my husband, and baby boy. Baby was super chill, eyes wide open and had a smile.
I recently had a crazier dream of baby. I was still pregnant, and it was the first time I could feel the baby - - but it was crazy, baby was sticking out of my belly from the sides and the front, it was creepy, but also I didn't feel anything - - and everyone around me was touching my belly. I think I had that dream because I was trying to see if I can feel baby kick as I'll be 17 weeks this Tuesday and I've been trying to feel the "flutters" they describe as movement. Although, I will be a FTM, I hear it may take longer for us to feel baby's movement (likely 20 weeks or beyond, perhaps even 25 weeks). I'm really curious how baby's movement will feel like!
@peacefuladventures with my first, I had that same dream with the baby sticking out of my belly and there was even a time where her hand and arm came out of my belly. So freaky! Also, with my first it wasn't until like week 21 or 22 that I felt her move. And even then I wasn't really sure until a few weeks later.
So miscarriage runs very commonly on my maternal side, so in the first trimester everyone was shoving warnings and caution my way, it was not a healthy time for me mentally. So almost every night I was having lucid dreams of being stabbed, or that I was visiting my brother at school and there was school shooter in the room with me and my husband. All in all it was an awful few weeks. It got better with the longer that my pregnancy progressed.
