My son is 2 months old now. For the past month he has been having a lot of gassy pain and I feel so bad that I can only do so much to help him feel more comfortable. I know it's normal for babies to experience gas as their digestive system is still immature but I wanted to ask for advice on how to help him get relief and prevent it from getting so bad. I have tried massaging his tummy, bicycle legs, Kolik Drops, etc. I'm combination feeding him breastmilk and Similac Formula as my supply isnt the greatest. I'm not sure if it's this formula that is upsetting his tummy and maybe I should try a different kind.
Re: Gassy Baby
Seems so weird to do but it works! Tried it this morning for the first time
You're doing great in trying various methods to help your baby with gas pain! Consider using a probiotic designed for infants, which may help improve their gut health. Consult your pediatrician before starting any supplements. Every baby is unique, so finding what works best for your son might take trial and error. Keep monitoring his symptoms; if they persist or worsen, don't hesitate to contact your pediatrician for further guidance.
