Holy hell I have never in my life felt the pain that I feel towards the end of my run on my nipples. FTM here and is this what breast feeding is going to feel like? Like millions of rusty razors are slowly hacking away at the nipples.
Any solutions or tips or tricks from any of you would be ever so helpful lol

Re: Mamas who run. How those nips.
Lately mine have just randomly been like stabbing pain at weird moments. Like I'll just be standing around and then BAM. Pain... and no, this is not what bf-ing is like! There might be some rawness at the very beginning, but it shouldn't last long. (Right now still nursing a toddler makes me want to scream sometimes though, toddlers are wiggly. Her nursing days are very, very numbered)
As for breastfeeding, it can feel a little sore at the beginning but it shouldn't be painful. If it's painful, there's probably a correction to be made to baby's position or baby's latches. I had very painful nips all pregnancy long last pregnancy (last year) and breastfeeding wasn't painful, it wasn't even uncomfortable after the first 7-10 days or so (it took that long to be completely comfortable because I had a sore that needed time to heal from a bad latch release on day two, as I was rushed by a nurse at the time). My most important tip would be to take your time, and try not to let anyone rush you. I regret letting myself be rushed by that nurse. I probably wouldn't have any negative thing to say about breastfeeding if it wasn't for that. Good luck!!
