When to contact the midwife

Hi ladies,

I’m wondering if I need to wait a while before contacting the midwife. I’m only 4+5 so very early and don’t want to seem silly calling so early?

with my last pregnancy I had my booking in and scan really late because I had to wait for wide for appointment, think I called then around 7 weeks but was years ago so it’s a bit hazy.

    I call right away. My practice needs to book months in advance for ultrasounds etc so it’s best to get on the books asap

    I would call now. If it were me, I'd rather have the peace of knowing my appointment was scheduled instead of waiting and then having to worry if I can't get the first one done around the time it should be.
