    I missed out last week while traveling so figured I’d start this weeks! 

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 7+1

    FTM/STM/TTM+: second time mom! 

    Baby is the size of a (an): blueberry 🫐 

    Team blue/pink/green: really wanted to be team green but already feeling impatient 😅 thinking about pretending to be team green and not telling anyone else I know 😂

    Upcoming Appointments: the 18th!!! I will feel so much better after this first appointment! Can’t come soon enough. 

    How are you feeling?: both my daughter and I have a bit of a cold right now. Other than the cold symptoms I’ve had waves of nausea and frequent urination but that’s it. 

    Rants/Raves: I was on a work trip last week and it was terribly hard to dodge all the alcohol! I think I made it out without anyone figuring it out but I guess we will find out in a couple months haha. 

    Questions: any second or third time moms nervous about adding another? I feel like my daughter has been super clingy ever since I found out and it makes me nervous about how this adjustment is going to go! She’ll be just over two after baby #2 is born. 

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 5weeks 5 days

    FTM/STM/TTM+: If this pregnancy goes to term, it will be my second, but I’ve got 3 “angel babies”

    Baby is the size of a (an): #2 pencil eraser (I’m a teacher, so I thought that one was cute)

    Team blue/pink/green: fingers crossed for pink

    Upcoming Appointments: ultrasound August 1, and I am so anxious! 

    How are you feeling?: pretty nauseous the last couple days, and I’m having terrible insomnia 

    Rants/Raves: I am a terrible secret keeper- I can, but I hate it! My husband wants to wait until the end of the first trimester to say anything, though, because of our history of miscarriages. I want to tell my best friend and family so bad I can’t stand it!! 

    Questions: An article popped up today about changing certain cosmetics. I didn’t do that during my last pregnancy, because I don’t think I knew that was a thing? Is anyone really doing this? Is it worth a look at the ingredients list? I don’t wear a ton on a normal basis anyway. 

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why? A month ago, I would have said Paris, but we just got back. I think next on the list will be Greece

     knottiecad793042f345166 My best friend knew the day after I told my husband!! It helps so much having someone to talk to about things! I would obviously tell her if something bad was to happen so I didn’t see the point in waiting. We haven’t told our families yet though! I prefer to tell them in person and with us being out of state we don’t get the chance super often.

    FTM/STM/TTM+: first time! Honestly still in shock I’m pregnant I tear up every time I think about it 

    Baby is the size of a (an): lentil or sweet pea

    Team blue/pink/green: happy with anything 

    Upcoming Appointments: July 29 not sure how I will wait until then 

    How are you feeling?: very tired. Isolated from the folks who don’t know yet

    Rants/Raves: snacks constantly 

    Questions: can I take daily allergy meds? Can I use mouth tape while pregnant? I have a list of questions for the OB

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why? Hawaii or Mexico. I’ve been dying for a beach vacation for years

    FTM/STM/TTM+: First time!

    Baby is the size of a (an): opening of a straw was the fun fact today lol 

    Team blue/pink/green: team healthy baby! Hubby is rooting for a girl

    Upcoming Appointments: August 5th is my first appointment. I don’t know how I’m going to wait until then. Literally counting down the days.

    How are you feeling?: TIRED. Excited. beyond grateful.

    Rants/Raves: I’m so tired but sleep horribly throughout the night. 

    Questions: Anybody else get really hot and/or out of breath easily? 

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why? I would love to go see the Northern Lights. That would be beautiful.

    Baby is the size of a (an): orange seed / grain of rice

    Team blue/pink/green: I think we are officially Team Blue 

    Upcoming Appointments: August 1 

    How are you feeling?: SO TIRED. Also queasy all the time and when I eat its like my food sits in my throat. This morning when I brushed my teeth it about made me sick. That was the same as my first pregnancy so I am not looking forward to this morning sickness!

    Rants/Raves: Nothing either way - I am hoping the next few weeks fly by to get to that first appointment. 

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why? Australia - I have always thought it looked so beautiful and have always dreamed of going. We love to scuba dive so I would love to get to do it there.

    The nurse at my OBs office said I can take daily allergy meds, but recommended I switch to Zyrtec instead of Claritin and to not take the kind with a decongestant in it.

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

    Baby is the size of a (an): honey bee! My parents keep bees and I wish I could share this fun fact with my mom today

    Team blue/pink/green: green, though I think I lean a little boy and husband leans a little girl

    Upcoming Appointments: tomorrow! Finally seeing my OB since he's back from vacation. I suspect I'll be getting a lecture about not knowing I was pregnant for six weeks.

    How are you feeling?: Awful. The indigestion. The insomnia. (The bloating, the headache) Why?

    Rants/Raves: My body pulled a fast one on me and my implantation bleeding was so I heavy that I was certain it was a period. Then we got covid and I was medicating for that in week 4/5 for about 5 days. AND NOW I'M SO STRESSED ABOUT WHAT THAT COULD HAVE DONE. Sigh, hopefully the DR can talk me through it tomorrow.

    Questions: we're headed on a 2+ week trip in less than two weeks. Any else travel in the last month of their first trimester? Any tips?

    Team blue/pink/green: team green, right up until I tell my OB that I want NIPT

    Upcoming Appointments: August 5. So far away…

    How are you feeling?: I’ll spare you the book. I can sum it up with bad.

    Rants/Raves: I was really hoping to get in earlier with the chemical pregnancy and miscarriage I had last year, but no such luck. 3 more weeks.

    Questions: When’s the earliest someone’s had to break out the pregnancy clothes? I can barely button my jeans, but I can’t say anything till September.

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
    Japan. That’s my and hubby’s bucket list spot.  I’ve always wanted to go because of my fascination with the culture. He wants to expand his palate.

    Upcoming Appointments: aug 5th

    How are you feeling?: anxious, I’ve had early losses. Otherwise very mild symptoms so far

    Rants/Raves: after 3 losses my ob/gyn is being very vigilant and is checking my levels and having me go in for an early ultrasound. 

    Questions: advice to not over my symptoms?

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why? Italy, so much family connection to the whole country but have never personally been myself.

    I have travel plans in a few weeks and I’m not sure how it will go. Planning on bringing lots of snacks and hoping for the best!

    I have been traveling for the last two weeks, but I’d love to finally participate!

    EDD / Weeks + Days: March 7 / 7 weeks 5 days

    FTM/STM/TTM+: First Time Mama :)

    Baby is the size of a (an): Jellybean

    Team blue/pink/green: Team healthy, but I keep having a dream I have a little girl

    Upcoming Appointments: July 30th, the wait has felt like an eternity 

    How are you feeling?: I have on and off again nauseous. I’ve basically learned I cannot let myself get hungry. My boobs feel very sore and my body temp just runs hot these days which is uncommon for me.

    Rants/Raves: Just the wait for my first appointment

    Questions: Can I dye my hair while I am pregnant?

    GTKY: if you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?

    My side of the family is Italian, so I’ve always wanted to travel to Italy.
