Hello everyone , this is my 4th pregnancy currently 23weeks & seem to be having to pee so frequently . Anyone else having this issue its so annoying ๐ย
Had another ultrasound yesterday (6th one with this little bebbe, they're gonna love the spotlight!) and the tech almost spit out her coffee when she saw my bladder--after I'd already peed a cup cause I was so uncomfortable.... She was like, your bladder never has to be this big. Those ultrasound instructions are clearly not for you. 20min later it was full again so had to take another pee break. ๐๐ And with it being so hot out I'm constantly thirsty. I normally don't like icy drinks but so necessary now. Bring on fall!ย
For me it's a bit better than it was around 12w as I can usually get thorough the night without being woken up, for now at least. I had to go loads of times during the day yesterday though.ย
I went to pelvic floor physio therapy after #2 which I would strongly recommend to everyone. She said that if you're getting the urge a lot but not really peeing very much then you can try standing on the ball of your foot for 10secs or so. Because it's in the same nerve branch as your bladder so it distracts from the urge to go. Obviously if you still need to go afterwards then go. A lot of women, me included, get into bad bladder habits when pregnant which become something you have to unlearn after the baby arrives.ย
