Eating habits?

I have been eating a lot more than normal. I feel hungry or the urge to eat to calm nausea every two hours during the day. Towards the evening after dinner I don’t eat much. Is this normal? I also have been wanting to eat foods that are high in carbs, not the most balanced meals due to aversions and nausea. Just feeling like how can I eat healthier if I can’t stomach a ton of options.

  • Totally normal. You can focus on healthier options when you’re not as nauseous. Carbs aren’t bad.

  • I’ve found the same thing! I’m between 8-9 weeks and previously had a super healthy fresh low carb diet. Now all I want is beans on toast, buttery toast or crackers to ease the nausea.

    I’m stuck somewhere between not being hungry due to nausea and unable to stop eating because the nausea gets worse. I’m hoping this is just a first trimester thing and it gets better from here but you’re definitely not alone, my friends who have had kids say they experienced the same.
  • I’m eating junk! Weeks 3-6 i was all….green smoothies, veggies, grass fed organic this and that. Week 6 I felt like trash with nausea i couldnt stomach anything but chicken nuggest, mcdonalds, white american cheese, bagels, jolly ranchers and cheetos. I never eat this stuff!!!!! But i’m miserable and even the thought of most else makes me gag
