Hi ladies.
I used these boards recently to check in with other older moms. (I'm 41). That said, I have a four month old that took some time to conceive. I've been since wondering when my period would return...
Turns out, not for awhile. I am a little over 9 weeks pregnant. Having another baby after my daughter was not even a remote possibility in my brain.
But here I am.
I had an appointment yesterday. All looks good on the ultrasound and I am getting the Panorama/NIPT labs Monday.
In the meantime, I am completely overwhelmed. Looking to learn from you ladies
Re: Here's a board I thought I'd never belong to...
I (38) will also have two under two by the end of the year, although my kids will have a bigger age difference than yours (14 months).
In my case, that second pregnancy was planned. We waited the six months postpartum recommended by my doctor and tried on the sixth month and conceived right away (which was a real surprise since it took over four years to conceive my daughter).
We are 18 weeks along with baby #2 and my daughter is currently 9 months old.
It's hard, especially the first trimester because of the fatigue, but we'll take one day at a time. I'm quite excited that my kids will be close in age. It will definitely be hard at first, but I trust we'll overcome the daily challenges!!
