First time being pregnant! I’m 5 weeks 5 days. I don’t feel nausea at all. Only sore boobs. Will I feel nauseas soon?? I’m traveling to Greece when I’m 7 weeks and I’m so nervous about the food there & the flight if I feel sick!
Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's great that you're not feeling nauseous right now. Pregnancy symptoms can vary a lot from person to person. Some people start feeling nauseous around 6-8 weeks, while others never. Since you're traveling to Greece soon, it's a good idea to be prepared just in case like snacks such as crackers and water to stay hydrated. Greek food, on the other hand, is generally fresh and healthy. But stick to what makes you comfortable. Stay safe, dear.
For me week 5 and 6 all I did was eat and be tired, this week is week 7 and my nausea kicked back up a bit. If it does, drink water with lemon and try to snack frequently and it helps the nausea go away.
I haven't had much nausea either tbh. I really expected to have horrible morning sickness, because I have a lot of health issues in the first place and I was just prepared for this to be a nightmare. I'm at 9+3 right now and I can honestly say that today is the worst nausea I've felt the entire time (and even that isn't as bad as I thought it would be.) I found myself googling stuff like "7 weeks pregnant, no nausea" and "Is everything okay if I don't have morning sickness?" etc for a while because this is my first pregnancy and I was honestly afraid that if I didn't feel terrible something was wrong. But I've been reassured (by my doctor and other pregnant people online) that I'm just fortunate! Sounds like you are too!

Yes, you're one of the lucky ones. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have been very nauseous every time.
I came here for reassurance. I've had some mild nausea, mostly just feeling queasy, so far, but nothing too serious. I've definitely started eating little portions throughout the day and that has helped the mild hangover feeling, but I keep worrying that something is wrong because I'm not more sick! So silly... I'm 8+6 today, so we shall see if it gets worse.

'm the same way! Little bouts here and there but never to the point where I actually think I'll be sick. I'm 10+3 so maybe we are just lucky on this one. last weeks US showed a healthy baby and heartbeat so I'm not worrying about the lack of major nausea.
I'm in the same boat, very little mild nausea 8w6d. Do the other not so nauseous mommas have strong other symptoms? I really only have sore breasts and insomnia. I've been googling ALOT for reassurance because I don't always feel like I thought pregnant would feel.
I'm 28wks (visiting from Oct2024 BC) and I never had any nausea. In fact, I've basically had mild symptoms this entire pregnancy so far. I don't think any of you need to fret over the symptoms you DON'T have, just worry about taking care of the ones you do. Everyone's pregnancy is different, and while nausea is a common one in the first trimester, it's not required for a healthy pregnancy. There are women who end up giving birth who had zero symptoms, including no missed period, and never even knew they were actually pregnant at all.
Just consider yourself one of the lucky ones! Everyone I talk to seems to get a little mad at me when I mention I never had any nausea, almost like they suffered and it's unfair that I didn't have to. My mom also never had any nausea so there's maybe something genetic there.
I think it has to do with how everyone’s body responds to the hormones. Some people just don’t get nauseous, others do. I’m someone who doesn’t get nauseous very easily - I get migraines and I hardly ever get nauseous then, either, where my husband gets nauseous over everything. I’m 10w5d now and I’ve only had a few days of nausea. But I do have plenty of other symptoms - super sore boobs, very tired, constipated/bloated, headaches, etc
I’m on my 2nd pregnancy and have basically only had decreased appetite, almost 10 weeks now. During my first pregnancy I think I threw up once or twice, I was definitely sicker but still not awful. I just focus on taking my prenatals (NOT with food or before brushing teeth) and trust my body to take care of bb until my appetite kicks back in! My only other symptom this pregnancy has been my areolas darkening and boobs getting more full. I’ve been very grateful since I have a 1 year old and honestly her food/eating habits are enough to make anyone nauseous 😂
Re: I don’t feel nauseous… will that change??
I'm 8+6 today, so we shall see if it gets worse.
