First Appointment

Anyone have their first appointment yet? 

I set mine up for Thursday. It’s soo early but I needed a new ob and really want to get blood work done to ease my mind.

    that does see so far! I pushed for an earlier appointment. I’m happy they were willing to accommodate.

    Hi guys! First baby and I was trying to set up my first appointment and the OB that’s connected to the hospital I want rejected me because of where I live… is that common?

    I’m not sure if that’s common. Maybe for your area? It’s definitely not common around me. I have never been turned away even when living about an hour from my OB I’m the past.

    I don’t have an official prenatal appointment but I do have a tour and consult this Thursday with a midwife and her birth center. I’m hoping all goes well and we can go ahead and schedule the first appointment then.

    Hey! In the same boat , just booked my first appointment for next Monday . I had two positive at home test and I’m feeling different in terms of a lot of bloating/pressure but want the blood test to confirm. I only got my results 24 hours ago and it’s been a roller coaster ride already and google is my new best friend 😂🌸

    I had my first appointment yesterday! It was originally meant to be just my annual, but they confirmed the pregnancy with a urine test. They also took bloodwork to check my levels and make sure they are looking good…so fingers crossed! 🤞 

    I made an appt for my first ultrasound—July 2!

    6/27, at 8 weeks. They mentioned they actually like to scan sooner though, which surprised me, so I may try to reschedule to sooner. 

    It’s the day after my husband’s birthday and the day before our anniversary ☺️

    7/2 with a specialist I started working with but 7/10 with my local obgyn who will be my longtime provider. Thinking of pushing the second one out since I was able to get an earlier appt, but not really sure what the right move is. I'll be 8 weeks at this first one.

    i have a virtual appointment on 6/18 and the full in person appointment on 7/10. Waiting is hard!!

    I feel this!!! I just took a test Monday (and two more) and my head is reeling. It is so exciting, and scary, and secretive. My OB appt is July 12th - what are good questions to ask at the first appointment I have also been googling everything!

    I just had my first ultrasound Friday (6/21) at 7w2 and will have my first appointment this Friday (6/28) at 8w2

    Mine is July 2nd also! (The confirmation) -8 weeks
    And my initial is July 16. Good luck all. This is 1st for me. So Nervous!!

    I found out I was pregnant 6/11 (3w2). Confirmed with bloodwork 6/12 (3w3). First ultrasound 7/2 (6w2). First appointment 8/13 (12w2)!! I don't know how I'm supposed to wait that long! I found out sooo early. 1st time mama.

    I also recently found out of my pregnancy , and my first appointment with OBGYN is July 2nd like the many mamas to be here. Please do share your findings and I will share mine as well!
