    Month/Cycle? Stopped counting

    Ages of other child(ren)? 5 and 6

    Any thoughts about this cycle? Benched still

    Any questions? Nope

    Rant/Rave? My kids are going through a phase (or at least I hope it’s a phase) of saying no every time I ask them to do something and it’s just so frustrating.

    GTKY: What do you most like to read to your kid(s)?
    I read the first Harry Potter book to them not too long ago and that’s probably been my favorite

    Any thoughts about this cycle? Benched while recovering from surgery. Trying to stay positive about the delays, at least we got this out of the way quickly.

    Rant/Rave? Rave: Same as last time, my little guy is being amazingly empathetic for a 1.5 yr old. 

    GTKY: What do you most like to read to your kid(s)? I have a favorite board book I read to him called "Quiero a mi mama porque..." His favorite page is the racoons bc I tickle him every time he points at them.

    Any thoughts about this cycle? Nothing new, sitting this cycle out

    Any questions? Did anybody tell your family you done and then change your mind? We early on, like before we got married, said 3 was what we wanted, but pregnancy ended up being a bit more complicated then I was expecting (like more than the norm, I read and knew a lot but clearly surprises happen) and said we were done after 2. We obviously changed our minds but I’m not looking forward to the backlash from (mostly my) family. 

    Rant/Rave? I’m really loving sleeping in slightly and being able to enjoy my coffee more due to summer break but damn it’s HOT. 

    GTKY: What do you most like to read to your kid(s)? The Rebel Girls Books! Also love to read Harry Potter, but that’s probably because I love HP so much. Really anything but Amelia Bedelia(sp?), I hate those. Thinking about maybe doing the D’Aulaires’ myths/legends stuff soon, I love mythology.

    @thatbaintforbetty My family knows we are trying for a third because we used my mom as a reference for the embryo adoption and I didn’t make her keep it a secret. H’s family doesn’t know, though, and they probably assume we aren’t planning on a third since we told them we aren’t fostering anymore. Not quite the same as saying definitely no more and then changing our minds, but I can’t imagine our families reacting negatively even if we had done that.
