Sleepy baby 2 months old

Does anyone else have a sleepy baby? He’s just over 2 months old, eating very well (98th percentile for weight and 88th for length) but he just likes to snooze! Not always in a bassinet, mostly in our arms or near us. I always read that I should cap all naps to 2 hours but when I haven’t he still sleeps 6-8 hours at night and I feel bad waking him up. Anyone been through this?

    Hi! My baby is two months old and is the same way. Sometimes she has short naps (30-40 mins) but she’s sleeping 6-8 hours at night. I don’t let her sleep past 8 hours so she can eat, but once I feed her, she’s back to sleep again. They’re “supposed” to eat every 3-4 hours so I’m always questioning myself if I’m doing this right!

    Thanks for the reply!I’ve kept on letting him sleep on his schedule and he’s still sleeping great at night. Our MD also supports this, so we will keep it up! :)
