Team pink/blue/green: blue! Just found out last week. We’re super excited.Â
Baby is the size of a(n): avocado
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: still nauseous and dealing with heartburn. Exhaustion is a thing and I can’t seem to slow this weight gain train down, even with working out 5x/wk for 45 mins on the elliptical. Libido is up, too.Â
Upcoming appts: regular prenatal visit tomorrow. I’m sure they’ll just check heart rate but we may also get to see baby via US since I’m a geriatric pregnant person.Â
Rants/Raves/Questions: At only 4 months pregnant I feel like this pregnancy is taking forever! I’m still hiding it at work but need to sit down and tell my boss and team and face the music. Idk why but I feel like there may be some judgement that it’s baby #4 and I’m in a pretty high up position at work. Literally no one at my level has kids under 18 or any kids at all. I’m also privy to the stress on leadership when someone goes on leave.Â
GTKY: What are some of your favorite summer traditions? Travel! Headed to Tahiti in a couple weeks, then Spain and Greece. I’m so grateful that my kiddos are good travelers and I’m trying to do as much flying as I can before I get too far along.Â

Team pink/blue/green: we will find out this weekend and I cannot wait!
Baby is the size of a(n): peachÂ
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: most of the intolerable symptoms have gone away at this point although still super tiredÂ
Upcoming appts: next Friday regular visit
Rants/Raves/Questions: none at the momentÂ
GTKY: What are some of your favorite summer traditions? My parents have a pool so that was awesome to group up with. Now I love going there in the summer and spending time with my family and going in the pool. I also spend a lot of time with friends in the summer since we have to travel to see a lot of them as we’re all spread out.Â
Team pink/blue/green: Myself and Baby B are team blue. Daddy and Baby A are team pink. We told his parents Father's Day. They are team pink and have been since before my boys were born. When they found out about our twins the first word out of MIL's mouth was, "If they aren't girls, I don't want them." Needless to say, I'm really hoping it's a boy just for that because I don't want this one to be shown favoritism just because they are a girl. My kids already have a complex because their grandparents spend every major holiday and most of their time in another state doting on their older boy cousins who are in HS. This so far has been REALLY easy compared to my twins so I'm starting to think it may very well be a boy.
Baby is the size of a(n): Plum.Â
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: I'm rocking the Hobbit life with 2nd breakfast. Still wrestling with the extra stuffy nose and choking on snot. Been leaning heavily on small snacks and jolly ranchers/sucker's. Ordering some sugar free ones because I don't need the sugar and hate the way all that sugar makes me mouth feel.
Upcoming appts: NTT scan and blood work this week.
Rants/Raves/Questions: FOR those who have had boys AND girls, which pregnancy was easier on you symptom wise? Won't know gender for a week or two after this blood work. But I'm that person that can't help that scrutinize and analyze everything. Lol
GTKY: What are some of your favorite summer traditions? We like to go camping/travel with our RV. We're going to Fun Valley Family RV park in CO this summer. The kids love it.Â
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: Just tired and still a little queasy. No real cravings this week - looking forward to a couple weeks from now just to be done with the first tri blehsÂ
Upcoming appts: July!Â
Rants/Raves/Questions: Has anyone seen Inside Out 2? Good for a 4 year old who has seen the first one? Also…any good generally?Â
GTKY: What are some of your favorite summer traditions? Berry picking, hanging out at our beach house, and many, many park picnics. I’m a little biased, but the PACNW has some of the best summers in the world - dry & perfect temps!Â

I’ve had 1 boy and 2 girls, and am currently pregnant with a boy. Being pregnant with my girls was FAR worse than with my son and this boy so far. The nausea pretty much lasted my whole pregnancy and was way more intense. Not sure if it’s pure happenstance, but deliveries with my girls were harder. I literally threw up the entire labor with my last delivery (baby girl #2). Also, I had hair thinning around my edges postpartum with the girls, but not the boy (it grew back though!). Â

I was sick like that with my twins. I also lost a lot of hair. But that ended being a thyroid flare. Can't really compare the twin to this though. Outside of a bump, some exhaustion, and extra snot to gag on, I don't really feel pregnant. It's kind wild considering how hard the boys were.
@BraveheartKitchenSink I think it really depends on the person. All of my pregnancies have been a little different from each other, but the biggest difference I noticed was I was absolutely utterly exhausted with my boy pregnancies the whole way through. There was no energy lift in the 2nd tri, until I was pregnant with a girl. Â I had a serious gag reflex to mint toothpaste with my girl pregnancy, but otherwise I think I may have been sicker with some of my boys too. (One boy didn't give me any morning sickness, but did give me motion sickness).Â
I talked to two cousins a couple years ago about it and one had a significantly easier postpartum recovery with her girls, while the other was the complete opposite.Â
EDD/W+D: 12/25 23 weeks today!
Team pink/blue/green: currently green, may find out in a week
Baby is the size of a(n): daisy
Cravings/Aversions/Symptoms: this has definitely been one of my easier, if not the easiest, pregnancy so far. Though every time I think I'm safe from nausea it strikes again, which isn't unusual for me. It seems to hang on until closer to 20 weeks.Â
Upcoming appts: I had a really quick check with the midwife today after genetic counseling/NT scan and blood draws. Everything is looking good so far!
Rants/Raves/Questions: on my appointment info it listed a man's name for my u/s along with saying it would be trans vag - and I was rather horrified. But he turned out to be the dr, not the techs (who were ladies!) and it was the normal abdominal kind. They were all very nice and did a great job explaining things.Â
GTKY: What are some of your favorite summer traditions? Camping and a beach trip with extended family!
