A week and 3 days behind what my app says.

I went to the OB yesterday. My app said I was 8 weeks but I measured 6 weeks and 4 days. Has this happened to anyone and what was your outcome? When I go back 6 weeks and 4 days that is the exact weekend we did it, only time we did. I’m scared it’s going to end in a miscarriage

    Typically gestation is measured based on the first day your last period. But if you had sex 6w +4 days ago and thats also when you ovulated then thats how old your baby would be. Your last period is typically a week and a half-2 weeks before that which would make sense if you thought your 8weeks.

    Was your OB concerned?  Are they having you come back soon to measure growth?

    I have a dating ultrasound on Tuesday. He just said they would have to do a transvaginal one. I will be 7 weeks 2 days according to his measurements that day. He said the sphere looked good it was just too far back in my uterus. He didn’t show any concerns that I could catch into. I go back to him in 3 weeks

    Ours was about 3 days off, and I was confused also. Doc asked if I was certain about the first day of last period several times. When I asked why this would be, she reminded us “we’re looking at literal millimeters here.” I can’t speak for the delay they are seeing with yours but hoping baby is growing slow and steady and that you get some reassurance Tuesday 💕

    I dont know how your dr measures and if the size of the baby is based off of how big since conception or how many weeks pregnant based on your last period. Im 12 weeks today based on my period but technically my baby is only 10 weeks old. My midwife bases size/duedate off of last period. Idk what they do about irregular periods though cuz im always consistent so i know. I wouldn’t be concerned unless your dr is.
