Mental Health

Anyone else here struggle with mental health? I typically have mine under control but with feeling so sick, tired and poorly from the pregnancy mine has taken a nosedive. That and the surge of hormones… anyone with me?

I totally understand! For me personally, when I’m having a tough day mentally I run. Running clears my mind and usually lifts my mood. But I’ve felt so crampy the last week straight I just haven’t had the desire to run.

  • yes! I’ll usually exercise or get outside but the cramps, the exhaustion and the “morning”- all day sickness has been preventing me from doing anything

I’ve been feeling a little guilty about not going to the gym. I’m hoping I’ll feel more reassured after my first appointment and I’ll go to the gym regardless of how I’m feeling. I’m sure it’ll help

You’re definitely not alone in that feeling.
  • Yes! I have an 5 year and thought we were one and Done this is totally unexpected. I’m struggling with the idea of having another child and starting all over again, putting my career on pause again and my symptoms are worse than with the daughter.
  • My mental health has always been an issue on and off. I was feeling better after a life changing treatment but since getting pregnant I have felt SO irritable (all the time) and down (at work in particular). Super unmotivated :( Plus the nausea non stop and fatigue just make me want to lie down all the time and rest. Which I know I need more of, but it also makes me feel guilty and down. I'm questioning if my depression is not creeping back in slowly these days. It's very unsettling. You're not alone mamas!
