My babies indian dad wants to terminate parenting rights

I don't know where to post this.
I'm 5 weeks pregnant with a baby from a man who is from India. He's lived in the states most of his life.
We are not married, both were stupid, didn't take precaution. I told him I was not on birth control. I also told him he should wrap. He didn't wrap, pulled out instead... it was pure stupid. We both knew this was stupid. Neither of us blame eachother.
When I told him I was pregnant. He went very cold. Told me to get an abortion. He schedule an appointment for me as well, and said he would pay for it... he said we needed to think about how this affects our complicated lives.
He said, If I didn't get an abortion he would not see me anymore and will sign away legal parenting rights.
Has anyone been through this? Why is he responding like this? He says he has been divorced for 2 years. Could he have lied??
I know he has 2 kids already. We haven't met eachothers kids yet. And definitely won't now. I have 2, from previous marriage as well. He just says he doesn't want anymore kids. He also is telling me all of sudden he might be going back to India in a few years because his ex is moving his kids back to India and his parents health is declining.
How does he terminate his rights? Will he still be obligated to support the baby?
Can he take this baby to India without my permission if he changes his minds ?
I'm going to seek advice from an attorney.
I'm just freaking out. I'm hurting. I feel ashamed about all of this.
But in the end, I want what's best for this baby. My sisters and girl friends are going to support me through this. I can do this alone.
I'm just confused and scared about him.
Can anyone tell me about volunter termination of parental rights. How soon can he do it?
