Red/ Itchy Breast

My left breast has been super itchy lately around the nipple but not on the nipple itself. No bumps. No warmth. I can’t get into my doctor for a few more weeks. Any idea what this might be? I’m pumping and breastfeeding. My baby doesn’t look to have thrush on her tongue either.

    Sometimes I would get this even before getting pregnant. I live where it’s really dry so if I wasn’t putting on lotion for a few days it would get dry and itchy and then when I scratched I would get little bumps and a rash. I would try using some nipple balm on your breasts that’s safe for baby so you don’t need to use lotion or wash it off before pumping or feeding.
