Hello!! Yes. I’m noticing my head hurts when I need to eat or drink more. I also do a warm bath soak in Epsom salt for 10 minutes. Got out and the headache was gone.
i was getting bad, consistent headaches during my first pregnancy. My doctor recommended a magnesium supplement daily and the headaches stopped! She told me I could take 400mg up to 3x a day, but I only needed to take 400mg 1x (I did nightly as it can aid in sleep too!). Hardly ever had to take Tylenol after I started the Mg. Talk to your MD about this first though so they can recommend the right dosage for you!
Don’t forget to hydrate! Tylenol is okay for pregnancy and so are baby aspirin. Actually, daily baby aspirin is recommended for folks with pre-eclampsia risk so it has a double benefit! I sometimes drink something with a little caffeine in it and that helps, too.
I've had a horrible headache for over 24h now. It's only just starting to shift. I've tried everything (nap, fluids, food, electrolytes and eventually Paracetamol) and nothing has really worked. I might get some coconut water I drank it a lot in my previous pregnancies because of the magnesium and the electrolytes.
I’ve been staying super hydrated, but I still get headaches that feel like dehydration headaches in the evenings. The heartburn and the headaches are both worse in the evening. Peppermint oil helps me when I’m ok with the smell of it.
