What’s everyone using for skincare? My dr said chemical sunscreen was ok in both my face moisturizer and regular sunscreen for the summer. Anyone else? Anyone using lash growth serums?
Salicylic-based foam wash 2x day and honey halo cream moisturizer in the mornings for me. I may smear some Banana Boat sunscreen on when I remember. Also, I get eyelash extensions every 2 weeks and plan on keeping it up.
I use Eminence Organics line and my doc had no issues with any of my products or ingredients. Love the line! I asked my doc about the 'extras' like getting my nails done and lashes etc and he said it's probably safe, but we've got a lot invested into this pregnancy (ivf transfer #7!) and it's just not worth the risk to me.
Ugh my skin is suffering because I had to stop both spironolactone and retinol
I currently double cleanse (oil and water based), moisturize and use chemical SPF during the day. Azelaic acid at night if my acne is too horrible (which it is, ugh). All of this is pregnancy safe.

I've been using a chemical sunscreen in my moisturizer and another as my regular sunscreen, as recommended by my doctor. Curious if others do the same! Also, has anyone tried lash growth serums? Would love to hear your experiences!
I use Honest brand for just about everything and love it. I do their cleansers, moisturizers, makeup, everything. It’s all very clean and safe. For sunscreen I’m going with babyganics mineral sunscreen. And Sally Hansen makes some nice plant-based non-toxic nail polishes that I’m enjoying using too. Trying to keep things as clean and natural as possible.
I've stopped my retinol. For skincare I have a lot of Sunday Riley among other things and I do a three day actives rotation (glycolic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide/none). In my previous pregnancies I skiped the acids but my skin had actually tolerated it fine. I've been lucky in pregnancy my faceial skin is usually super good if a bit drier than usual.
SPF I use the Biore Aqua Rich SPF 50. Which I 100% recommend it's Korean and has super high UV coverage but it's supper light like a gel moisturiser and doesn't sting your eyes. It's pretty cheap and easy to get on Amazon and it's actually one of the best selling face SPF in the world.
Other than my face I've had a big psoriasis flare up on my neck that's just not going away. I've used some hydrocortisone sparingly and occasionally as you can use it in pregnancy but I don't want to use it too much. In my last pregnancy I got it on my knees and it persisted until well after the birth. I'm hoping it's not the case with these patches because it's a lot more visible.
