8 month old doesn’t bring toys or food to mouth only hands

SOS!

My 8 month old doesn’t bring toys or food to his mouth. He is a thumb sucker and will put his hands in his mouth but thats it.

He does have purées and solids but we use a spoon/fork or our hands to feed it to him.

Im starting to panic because my older two children never had this issue.

Any tips or advice?

Every baby is different. I would look at all of the milestones. I wouldn’t be considered if this is the only issue
