Board layout - what do you want to see?

edited April 2024 in December 2024 Moms
It’s been a while since I’ve been on the Bump like this (not since 2020)

What would you all like to see in the board?

Here are some things I’ve done before:
Questions thread
Weekly check in
Friday Randoms
PGAL check in (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly?)

I have seen some have a bleeding/spotting TW thread too.

  • Those are all really great suggestions 😁

  • Looks like a great start! Can’t wait ‘til we can start the Hump Day Bump Day thread. At this point, it’s more like Hump Day Bloat EveryDay 🤣

  • My last board wasn't super big so we had one big question thread, and I think one big symptoms thread for each trimester?

I think we may have started with a pgal check-in, my way old group had weekly check-ins for each day of the week depending on due date... but our last board definitely just had everyone merge into one thread because otherwise it was too lonely.

We did the product spotlights, one big ultrasound thread, and a "Friday fit mama" for anyone wanting encouragement/accountability to stay active.

I think the TW thread can be nice in that it can be less intimidating for people who want to say farewell but without having to start their own.
  • @bluecampanula I agree with the TW thread - the hardest thing to do is tell people you’ve had a loss. I always feel like I’m waiting for that other shoe to drop.
  • @rosesintherain thank you for starting this! I had the same questions. I love structure. The structure of my last board was similar to what @wednesdayschild posted.

@MrsCaliRN I also like bump day, and it’s definitely bloat every day here too 😂
  • I haven't been on the Bump like this since I was pregnant with my son in 2013! Unpopular opinions were always a favorite of mine. I'm happy to be here with you all :)
