    How are you feeling?: still prett6 good, just large and hips are sore

    Rants/Raves:  Had a great weekend with the girls and husband. Great weather and some great/ new activities for them that were a lot of fun!
    Rant- tomorrow is Monday...

    Questions: none at the moment 

    GTKY: If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? Oooh. Probably fresh produce?  Definitely limited on what we can get for good produce where we live. The last 2 pineapples I bought were molding when I cut into them.  I want fresh pineapple so bad..

    Upcoming Appointments: first non stress test on Wednesday 

    How are you feeling?: I am starting to get uncomfortable. I have been able to keep most aches and pains to a minimum with regular exercise but this “modified” bed rest situation means no exercise, so now my back and hips are sore all the time. I’ve been doing some gentle stretching, but it only helps so much. 

    Rants/Raves:
    RAVE: We saw the MFM again last Friday. Baby girl is doing great! She’s measuring 3 weeks ahead, and already over 5.5 pounds at 32 weeks. She already has a full head of hair and she is beautiful! 

    RANT: MFM ordered weekly non stress tests from here until we deliver. Both she and my OBGYN put the fear of daylight into me about the c section. I have been told my chances of hemorrhage are very high and I should be prepared for a hysterectomy if they can’t stop the bleeding. I’m glad they told me, but it’s also a scary prospect.

    GTKY: If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? I like both the yarn and the fresh produce ideas! I might go with perfectly ripe peaches. I could eat one every day, but our local peaches are really only good for a few weeks a year.

    Upcoming Appointments: MFM appointment today and regular OB on Wednesday 

    How are you feeling?: Overall pretty good but definitely having some aches and pains that come with the extra weight. Sleeping is getting hard, lots of turning back and forth all night long

    Rants/Raves: Rant: my husband has a couple friends coming down this week to visit and I know he is looking forward to it but I am just dreading having 2 visitors at our house. I am at the stage where half the time I am not even fully dressed since things don’t always fit and I don’t need two people around the house haha
    Rave: we just placed a big order of stuff from our registry now that we have the 15% off and I think we pretty much have everything we will need before the baby is born. Now we just have to set it all up!

    GTKY: If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? Can I say Money? An unlimited supply of money would be really great haha

    @maggiemadeit that is really scary! Why do your drs think you have such a high chance of hemorrhaging? Is it due to the Ashermans? I was wondering about that myself and going to ask my MFM today if that is a concern.

    How are you feeling?: been fighting a cold this week so that on top of being super pregnant, I have not been sleeping

    Rants/Raves: rant - being sick!
    rave - right now I teach in a school that is one town away (about a 20 minute drive) and I just found out that I am possibly being transferred to the school in the town I live in! I will hopefully find out by next week but I’m so excited to potentially be able to teach in the school my kids go to

    groceries! I hate grocery shopping

    @sbaby2023 It’s because of the position of my placenta. The risk of pre and post partum hemorrhage is a lot higher with previa, but I guess the position of mine is especially problematic. It’s a good question to ask your MFM though. I remember mine telling me that asherman’s can increase the chance of retained placenta.

    Upcoming Appointments: Midwives appt tomorrow morning

    How are you feeling?: Overall pretty decent. Definitely having some low back pain, but trying to remember to do my pelvic floor PT exercises more often, which also tend to help with my low back pain. I've also been noticing some crampy feelings (I tend to get back cramps during my period and they feel like that), so not sure if they are some BH contractions or what - I plan to ask my midwives about it tomorrow. 

    Rants/Raves: 

    Rave - I mentioned we got a new car last week, but I moved the car seats over to the new, bigger car, which I'm glad to have off my list. 

    Rant - I feel like I've gotten so much done, but still have so much to do before baby comes! I also feel like I've spent a lot of money lately on little things for the baby, which bums me out. 

    Questions: Not a question, but sharing that I created a June 2024 Babies private group! Some people don't have facebook, so figured we could start with a private bump group and revisit whether we want to do a facebook group in a couple weeks. I invited people who have done a check-in in the last three weeks, but sharing the link in case you missed the invite or I missed you! https://forums.thebump.com/group/1482-june-2024-babies 

    GTKY: If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? Ohhh I really don't know. I really like the money answer @sbaby2023 and fresh (perfectly ripe) produce would also be nice @kbtt2022. But also does time count? That would be really helpful too.

    Upcoming Appointments: had one yesterday. Next appointment is May 3rd.

    How are you feeling?: normal soreness. But a lot more lower pressure all the sudden. Extra tired recently as well. 

    Rants/Raves: my Dr told me they don't want me going pass my due date. But my last three pregnancies were all a week late. So schedulimg an induction was already brought up. I have never had to be induced, and I'm super anxious about it. I have no idea how my body would react to induction. I am terrified of a c section and even more so of recovery with a 4 and 2 year old at home. Just trying to be positive but already feeling sort of defeated.

    GTKY: If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? Iove everyone else's idea lol. With a family of 7 currently, it would have to be toilet paper though!

    Upcoming Appointments: I had a checkup yesterday and go for another one in 2 weeks.

    How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Pelvic floor PT has helped a lot with my hip and back pain.

    Rants/Raves: I've started to get That Look.. the one where people ask how much longer I have, and they either get wide-eyed or sympathetic when I respond.

    And this isn't a rant or a rave, just funny. I know that heart rate correlating to gender is an old wives' tale that doesn't hold much weight, but baby's heart rate has been exactly 140 at my last 4 appointments. Baby is giving no hints.  :D

    GTKY: If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be? If I say groceries, does that also mean they'll be delivered to my house? I hate grocery shopping.

    Upcoming Appointments:  May 9, OB Appointment

    How are you feeling?:  Day 10 of being sick, although I’m hopeful that it is subsiding. I feel like every cough is splitting my abs apart. Also knowing that I can’t do anything more than I’m already doing is super frustrating. Tylenol, throat lozenges and acid reflux medication on repeat. 

    Rants/Raves: 

    rant: being sick 🤒 🤧 

    rave/rant: just taking everything day by day but honestly feeling the stress of having so much on the go all at once. Being pregnant is already a challenge in itself, but we’re also closing on a new house that we move to in 20 days. Dealing with all the legal documents and packing is overwhelming. Thank goodness we have hired movers and cleaners though! Once we move I feel I’ll finally feel prepared for baby girl and having everything all set up for her arrival. 

    Rave- had my baby shower and am overwhelmed by all the love and support from family and friends and how loved our baby girl is already.

    if not money, then groceries is a great answer, just a fully stocked fridge/freezer/pantry full of an unlimited supply of food.

    How are you feeling?: tired and big, but doing pretty well considering. 

    Rants/Raves: rave—finished my iron infusions and my energy is better; rant—DH left today to go out of town for a week and it’s getting hard to solo parent.
