    I made this selfishly lol.
my family was in town from out of state this weekend and my grandmother so eagerly announced that I’m not even THAT big to be due in JUNE.
I had to correct her and tell her I was, in fact, due in August. The pure look of horror on her face said it all.
anyone else feeling huge already? 😅

  • Yes! Bump is way bigger this stage of pregnancy than with my first. Makes me nervous for June, July, and August. 😅
  • This is my first and I feel like my bump is huge for a first pregnancy. My friends that have kids have told me it’s not big, but I can’t imagine the last few months either 😆
  • Yay! One of the things I miss about my Sept 16 BMB was how active the randoms were.

I also feel very big for 23 weeks. I look 30 weeks at least. I also saw an instagram picture of Emma Lovewell (peloton instructor) who’s 6 months pregnant and she looks like maybe a tiny bit bloated at most. Seeing that reminded me why I don’t try to compare myself to others lol

@theneno1012 this board is so quiet compared to my April 22 board! I notice a lot more activity in the WTE community but I can’t handle how disorganized the threads are lol.
  • I’ve literally run out of clothes that fit that are cute enough that I feel like I can go out in public in them and I’m questioning what the heck I’m going to wear until the baby gets here? Especially since it’s only going to get hotter and I’m only going to get bigger. I was due Christmas last time so I wore leggings and sweaters lol. Not going to work this time I guess!
  • My last bump group was also much more active.  Maybe this site is losing popularity? In other news,  I just ate two bowls of salsa and chips at 11pm.
  • @beesgirls I've turned to dresses that are stretchy that I can wear post pregnancy.
  • Both my Aug 2014 and Sept 2012 boards eventually moved to Facebook groups and it is SO much easier to post and comment and communicate there. REALLY hoping we do that at some point.

Yes! I’m open to loving to Facebook too @lolothenailtech I think it would be easier to participate as well.
  • Our group in 2016 moved to Facebook and we are still active there even with our babies turning 8 this year. Would love to eventually move over there too
  • Did anyone ever soccer mom so hard that they became the coach? Also trying to work with a group of 5 year olds is like herding cats. I don’t know how teachers do this

As a kindergarten teacher I often describe my job as herding cats LOL. Some days require more patience than others! Routine helps a ton. My kiddos what to expect from day to day. They even remind me of I accidentally skip something (like morning meeting or a part of our calendar lol).
  • On Thursday we had one of our past coworkers stop in to say Hi and chat some.  I just found out today that she messaged one of my current coworkers to ask if I was pregnant.  I didn't think I was showing so much that it would be so easy to spot...but maybe I am?
  • My group in '22 moved to Facebook the month before we were due. We are all really active on there but our numbers dropped through the years.
  • My hands are swelling and I've never had that in pregnancy! I'm thinking the warmer weather is at play too.  Not sure how I'm going to function when it's hotter than 75 degrees 😆

Rant: I woke up to my son wetting (he just turned 2)
Rave: he was laying on me so the bes isn’t wet 😅 nothing like waking up covered in pee lol. I’m just glad I don’t have to strip and wash my sheets!

those who have night time trained- tips?
We rarely have accidents but we cut liquids off around 6/7 and encourage him to potty at least once before bed. He’s getting a bit reluctant in going when we *want* him to go, and of course hitting that toddler phase. I reallllly don’t want to wake him up in the MOTN to use the potty, but should I?
  • Awww @theneno1012 how fun! That would be a dream to be raising kids at the same time as my siblings!
  • It is so exciting. If someone told me a year ago this would be happening I’d tell them they were nuts  :D
