My husband travels a bit for work and despite my better judgment I took all 7 kids to church by myself. My two youngest are 2.5 and 1yr and I swear have been extraordinarily clingy ONLY to me lately. My entire body is sore from juggling those two. Also no one knows I am pregnant yet and I was scared I was going to give it away because I was so bloated and kept getting nauseous. Good thing we don't wait too long to spill the beans. It was a rough day.Β

Only a mini-garden. I'm still getting the hang to grow stuff. It will be my third summer. First summer, my vegetables had a hard time because I didn't watered them enough, last year, I watered too much. I hope I am better this year. I'm looking into getting chicken, but it won't be this summer. Maybe the next.
@nopegoat we have a garden! we also have an HOA, so I have fruit bushes and then the sanctioned vegetable garden. I also do a lot on our deck. We canβt have chickens though Β
Anybody started thinking about finding out gender or team green? this is our 4th and last, I was thinking about team green this time. We were surprised with #1 and then found out with 2 and 3. To be fair though, itβs probably a boy π
@froggerblue mini-garden counts!! My husband is the garden person of our household. I'm the animal person but I am really trying to get better at gardening.Β
So far ((fingers crossed)) out garden is going well. Last year was a complete and utter bust.Β
Chickens are very much a gateway animal, so beware. ππ We went from just chickens to chickens, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, geese, goats, pigs, rabbits, and bees extremely quickly.Β

@whatabout2ndbreakfast awesome!! If you wanted to do some kind of animals, look into quail and possibly rabbits if you want meat. Usually, not always, they are loophole animals because people keep them as pets too!
We will be finding out. Far too impatient not too. We have 7 boys so far so like you, it's a pretty safe assumption this one is a boy as well. π

@nopegoat I have thought about quail! I heard they are quieter too. Right now Iβm working on more fruit bushes and trees. I think weβre going to try peach trees
@nopegoat You have a beautiful garden! I still have snow here, so I have yet to plant anything outside. I'm in a city with really strict rules concerning animals. I'm only allowed chicken. I thought about quails, but the city wasn't too keen into the idea. I'm a simple person who doesn't want to overcomplicate her life with tons of paperwork, so chicken it will be.
We have started telling very close friends and family. So far 4 of 5 people said they basically already knew and were just waiting for us to announce. All of them live 9+ hours away and we haven't seen for months so apparently we have a pattern and have become quite predictable. ππ
