Spotting first trimester

I am pregnant for the first time, too early to have seen my OB yet. I’m 5 weeks 5 days today and had some extremely light pink discharge when I wiped this afternoon, so light I thought I was seeing things. Tonight though, I just had minimal light brown discharge in my underwear and when I wiped. I’m having some period like twinges, but very light, don’t know if I’d even notice them if I wasn’t so sensitive to everything my body is doing since I know I’m pregnant. Should I be concerned about this and call my OB or is this normal? Google isn’t helpful as it ranges from miscarriage to normal! Please help calm my fears if this is normal.

    This sounds pretty normal. I had some light spotting around then too and everything was fine. Could be some implantation bleeding or cervix irritation. A concern would be intense cramping or bleeding like a period.
