    Apt: 5/3
Gratitude: I had my first ultrasound today and there was a nice strong heartbeat!
Overall, I’m feeling slightly less nauseous. I’ll rotate 2 good days and 2 bad days which is so much better than all bad days.

i also just had my first ultrasound!! I’ve never experienced this before and I bawled my eyes out when I saw that heart beating.
My energy is coming back a little but that brick wall hits me in the afternoon and I’m feeling less nauseous as well. It’s sporadic now and passes faster. Fingers crossed!
  • Hi, I've been hiding for a bit just enjoying the ride...sorry if I'm popping in randomly but I'm looking for my crew! I haven't had it confirmed by the OB yet, from my very first US a few weeks ago I'm looking at a Nov 13th due date! My hospital does not offer VBAC which is absolutely fine with me so I'll get to really schedule the date when we get to that point!

My next US is Monday Morning with my first OB visit right after! Hoping to get the NIPT scheduled sometime in the next couple weeks with this appointment also!

Gratitude - Thankful for how easy this pregnancy has been so far. After the nightmare pregnancy with my DD(I literally swore I'd never be pregnant again haha) I'm thanking my lucky stars for the lack of symptoms I am having this far.

    Due date - 11/21
Next Apt - Haven't set it up yet, guessing it'll be around 10 weeks? I'm 7 weeks now. I think I'll call next week.
Gratitude - Thankful I was able to have a dating US two days after my positive test, I had no idea how far along I was!
How are you feeling? - Nauseous. Haven't puked yet, but with my other two pregnancies I didn't start puking until week 9 and it lasted for half the pregnancy both times. I'm more nauseous at this point than I was then, so I'm nervous it'll get even worse. Also really tired all the time, I keep falling asleep every night while reading to my son and he's not having it. First tri is not my favorite!

    Next appointment: 5/1
Gratitude: I’m feeling no nausea today after two horrific weeks. My ultrasound went well last week and baby had a strong heartbeat of 160.
Feeling a bit worried that my symptoms have eased up, could be a sign that something is wrong but I’m trying to be optimistic and use the energy to do things around the house while I have it instead of worrying.

how am i; Im feeling quite anxious and worried
Gratitude: Im feeling energetic today my nausea has subsided but it worries me alot im scared there might be something wrong. but im trying to stay positive i havent been to an ultra sound just yet. i am 10 weeks and 1 day. Also im new here :)
  • My anxiety always creeps in on days when I’m feeling good.
It’s weird that I’m reassured by feeling ill.
  • @mitchip 100% the same. I’m feeling slightly “normal” today, and it is making all my anxiety and fears flare
  • Due date: November 18
    Next Appt: April 11
gratitude: we get our first ultrasound tomorrow and I’m excited! Also grateful for this group and reading about other peoples experiences.

Last week (7) I was travelling and nauseous every day. This week (8) I’m back home and feeling pretty good. But now I’m anxious because I’m feeling good!!

    Omg same! How silly
  • Ha, sounds like lots of people are in the same boat regarding feeling anxious when you feel physically good! I had a couple days of feeling great too and I got anxious as well, but today I’m “thankfully” back to feeling like crap. First trimester is such a mindfuck.

  • So, this board doesn’t seem to be very active and it doesn’t have a lot of structure. I know I’m new but I’ve been on a couple other BMBs with a more structured setup, wondering what people here think of the following:

    - weekly (or monthly?) check in threads like this one. Maybe monthly is better, this one’s for last week and it doesn’t have a lot of replies and is still going strong.

    - monthly symptoms thread. Instead of creating a new “nauseous, just me?” thread for each symptom, keep it all together so we don’t drown in a million little threads.

    - separate threads for specialty things, like: AMA, pregnant after infertility/IVF, genetic testing etc.

-monthly product recommendations: STM+ can recommend products that worked for them, FTMs can ask questions about products they’re interested in. Examples: strollers, baby carriers, bassinets, car seats, postpartum must-haves, bottles/feeding stuff, etc.

What do people think about this? I think it might create a little more traffic and keep things clear, at least that’s my experience!

  • @etnyah I am all for more structure, so if you want to create new threads for each month and some of the other things you mentioned, go for it! Anyone can create new threads and if it’s clear what each one is, hopefully it will cut down on the new threads popping up with only 2-3 replies.
  • Do it! This platform is a mess, lol

@etnyah Sounds great. I've also been in a couple of Baby months groups on the bump and we did similar. It really depends on what people want from the group but I know from personal experience that they can be amazingly supportive and I still contribute to my DS2 group every week at least.
  • Sounds good, all! I’ll set up a few threads in a bit. Sorry for being AWOL, my husband is out of town so I’m trying to solo parent and wfh at the same time and it’s sort of a shit show lol. Be patient with me!

I was thinking I’d steal the product rec threads from a previous BMB, and I’ll start the AMA thread since I’m in that group now. Also genetic testing since I’m sure people will be doing NT scans and NIPT soon! If someone else wants to create threads for pregnant after infertility and pregnant after loss feel free, that’s not my scenario so I don’t want to overstep.
