High risk NIPT Trisomy 13

Hi mamas. I’m absolutely shattered. I’m 13w+2d currently and just received my NIPT results as high risk (PPV 65.13) for Trisomy 13. Before results, I’ve been seeing a genetic counselor for thickened NT, high heart rate and enlarged bladder during 12 week ultrasound. At 12w+5d scan, NT was down (specialist said normal at about 3mm) and heart rate was down from prior. But then, they saw concerns with the left side of the heart blood flow. It’s just one thing after another and I feel so much anxiety and sadness. Anyone else going through this too?

hello, I replied back to you on my post but now I am seeing your post. I am so sorry you are going through this. I know how heartbreaking it is. May I ask what your options are?

Hello! I am currently waiting to do the amniocentesis in a couple weeks. I understand that the CVS tests the placenta just like the NIPT does, so we are waiting for the amniocentesis. It’s been really difficult and I am filled with fear. This is my first pregnancy. Are you in a similar situation? If so, my heart is with you!!!!
