Too early or missed MC?

I can’t figure out dates due to being on the pill while falling pregnant. I thought I could be anywhere from 6-8 weeks.

I’ve had two abdominal ultrasounds (private), one last week and one today that both show a fetal pole and yolk Sak, however, unable to detect a heartbeat. 

First OB appt is next week , but I’m anxious to know.

    It could just be too early. I had a few early ultrasounds where they couldn’t really tell much, even when going transvaginal for the ultrasound, and by the time they could see a heart beat, they dated me at 6 weeks 1 day, so turns out it was just super early. I had missed a period the month prior but was getting negative preg results until I eventually got a positive one, and because of that had no idea how far along I was (could have been 4 weeks could have been 8 due to the missed period the month before), so it definitely could just be too early, but the fetal pole and sac/yolk is a great sign!     I’m in the same boat. I had my first appointment today and they saw a small sack but not the baby in the office. I originally thought I was about 8-9 weeks. They said either I’m closer to 6 weeks pregnant or the baby stopped growing which means I will miscarry. I went for an ultrasound and blood work but I won’t find out until tomorrow :.(
