Antibody M

in August 2024 Moms
Currently 20 weeks pregnant and my last 2 screenings for Antibody M came back negative after being positive. Has this happened to anyone else? Was it significant?

    My understanding of antibody screening is that there is a threshold level that determines whether a test is positive or negative. Could be that your levels were borderline and fell enough for the second test to be negative. Low levels of antibody M seem to be less likely to cause a problem with baby even if your screen was positive.

    That definitely could be it. My MFM Dr did the antibody titer test and my results were a 1, so very very low.
