KNOTTIE Users Here’s how to change your username. Please read

Welcome to Nobember 2024! This board is already awesome and we are working on building some great friendships and support circles.

With that being said, if your username starts with knottie, it's sooooo hard to get to know you guys or to be able to tag you in anything because you all (as well as about 8000 other knotties) all have screen names that start with 'knottie' and are followed by what feels like 35 number/letters. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Head over to The Knot and change your screen name to something we can get to know you with! And that way we'll be able to mention/tag you in all of our funny/inspiring/education posts.

Please note you must log out and in for your new screen name to take effect at The Bump.

    I tried to change my screen name and it wouldn't let me!

    Here’s how to change your username:
    1. While logged in to your account on The Knot, go to Account Settings.
    2. Click on your current Username and type in your preferred username.
    3. Go to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
    4. If your new username is available, your changes will be saved.

    It seems like you can actually do this on the bump site, or if you go to the knot site and navigate to their sister sites in the lower right corner, where you will see the bump.

    I am doing this as a test to see if changing my username worked? I did it using the bump app.

    I just tested it via The Bump app. 
    1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner. This will open up your account. 
    2. Click on your Username (should be in the box right under your real life name). This will open to a page that says “Edit Username.” 
    3. Click anywhere in the box where your username is to edit. 

    Hope this works for those that didn’t have any luck going The Knot route I mentioned above.
