Birthday date ideas- Mommy and 3 yr old

Hi!

Just wanted to see if anyone have any ideas of what I can do for my almost 3 yr old for his birthday. It'll just be him and I. I live within the Nashville area but willing to travel to any cool amd memorable Mommy and child activities. His birthday is in December.

    I don’t know about what’s in the Nashville area but I do fun days for my kids for their birthdays instead of parties. For my daughter’s second birthday we went to the bird kingdom by our house and had a day out exploring animals- she loved it. It was a nice day out so after that we played outside together, did some chalk and I planned a make your own pizza night because my daughter loves helping me cook. After dinner we did cake and that was it. For her third birthday I’m planning on asking her what she would like to do and having some options planned for her to choose from. Since it’s going to be December for you (idk if it gets cold in Nashville, I’m from New York so we’d have snow) I’d assume you’d stick to indoor activities. Painting, sensory bins, doing a cool craft, going to a museum or aquarium or getting him bundled up and running around outside playing whatever his favorite game is or going to a park might all be fun options. If he can communicate well though I’d try to put together a list of things you’d be okay with and see if he has a preference or if he has anything specific he wants to do. After all, it’s his day! I hope this helps and you guys have a wonderful time together celebrating!
