I'm feeling confused! I wake up feeling slightly nauseous. But it's not extreme. I don't get or feel hungry but know that I have to eat. When I do eat though, despite not feeling hungry, I can't stop!

  • I have this really foul taste in my mouth most of the time. I’m really hoping it goes away after the first trimester!

I’m also having super specific cravings. Tonight it was canned lentil soup 🤷‍♀️
  • I have actually had a lot of my nausea subside, other than smell aversions sending me gagging, so that has me both feeling good and anxious at the same time. I haven't had a doc visit yet, March 18th the first one, but according to my last period I should be around 9+2, and this time last pregnancy I was waking up dry heaving every morning. I never in my life thought I'd WANT to be nauseous, LOL, so that 1st check-up can't get here quickly enough.
  • @saf22 you’ve pretty much described how I’ve been feeling this week to a T! I feel a little queasy, eat so that feeling goes away and then my stomach becomes a bottomless pit
  • At least a little bit nauseous all the time. Sometimes more than a little bit. But also sometimes both nauseous and starving!

Nauseated after 12 pm most days and also starving. And I’m so tired. Eventually hunger > nausea and I eat as much as I can until the waves of nausea return. I can’t believe women used to do this unmedicated. My ob suggested phenergan on top of the unisom/b6 combo and I was told it will knock me out, which worries me because I’m already barely able to get off the couch. I’m going to interview a midwife later this week and I’m hopeful that she’ll answer some of the questions I still have after my first ob appt.
