Help - tissue?

Hi all, I know I need to see a doctor - the soonest available ob is 3/4 :((( I had an ultrasound last week at 6 weeks 2 days...heartbeat, no cause for concern. Today I passed 1 glob of tissue with a little red in the middle and wiped pink on toilet paper. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm paranoid about miscarriage

Re: Help - tissue?

  • I think spotting is normal, but I would call the dr just to be sure.

  • I did and they told me they can't give medical advice over the phone 😂 so have to wait until the soonest appointment on March 4. Thank you for replying!!
  • Did the bleeding slow down? Fingers crossed for you! Waiting is the worst!

My partner passed a massive tissue that looked like a small placenta, tonnes of blood followed in the toilet. We were so sure it was a miscarriage, we were devastated and mourned the loss of our baby.

Went to the fertility clinic the next morning after no sleep and the scan showed that everything was perfectly normal! We couldn't freaking believe it. Craziest swing in mood/emotion I've ever experienced.

Turns out it was due to a subchorionic hematoma. Some women get these, especially if doing IVF, and bleeding may continue for a long while.

    Best of luck everyone.
  • Hooray!! Such good news!!
