Trouble TTC

Intro (again) —— TW (loss&child mention)

Hey everyone. Lynn here, it’s been so long I honestly don’t even think I have any friends still using bump so it feels like starting all over again:

I am 34, DH is 31 in Georgia, just bought a house and are settling in. I have a 12 year old son from my previous marriage and haven’t had a successful pregnancy since. History of PCOS and multiple losses all at different stages. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating to say the least, but y’all are some of the few who actually can understand that side of TTC. I had an IUD in from my last MC and through nursing program, then removed it in July 2023. We’ve been NTNP since then just for the sheer fact that I’m pretty terrified to actually try again, but after thinking I *might* be PG I realized that I do want to really get back into fertility treatment and solidly into the TTC process.

I’d love to get to know everyone here, especially those in similar situations.

  • wildflower_, I know it's frustrating. Mine is different. DH and I were diagnosed to be both infertile. Doctors didn't know why. So we need both sperm and egg donation. You are lucky to have a son in a natural way. We ended with IVF treatment in North Cyprus, and luckily, I now have a 3-year-old son. You are still young, and I know you can do it. Sending baby dust here.

  • Thank you for sharing your story. I have no idea how incredibly difficult your journey must have been. Do you mind if I ask how many rounds of IVF? How was your overall pregnancy?
